How to split a PDF into separate files
To split a PDF, open Split PDF, write the page ranges you want, such as 1-3 and 7, and download the files. Each range becomes its own PDF, named after the pages it holds.

Steps
- Open Split PDF and add the document.
- Write the ranges, separated by commas.
- Select Split.
- Download the ZIP with one PDF for each range.
Split or extract
Split makes several files at once. If you want just one new file holding a few pages, Extract pages does that directly and leaves the original untouched.
Counting tasks
A split is one task, however many files it makes. The Free plan has 3 tasks a day; paid plans count by the month.
