Use PDF Loft with Zapier and Make
Run PDF tools and react to finished runs from a Zap or a Make scenario.
Before you start
- The PDF Loft apps for Zapier and Make are built but not yet published to the Zapier and Make directories, so they cannot be added from those directories today.
- Until then, use the HTTP request and webhook steps of either service with an API key. The developer guide lists every route.
Run a tool with an API key
- In Developers, make an API key that may run tools and read runs. The key is shown only once.
- In Zapier or Make, add an HTTP request step that sends the key as a Bearer token. Upload the file, start the run and read the result as the developer guide shows.
- To start a Zap or scenario when a run finishes, add a webhook step and add its address as a webhook endpoint under Developers.
- Check the signature of each message before you trust it. The developer guide shows how.
Limits by plan
- This needs the Team plan or above, because it uses the API and webhooks. Calls use the same tasks as the web apps, and a run that fails is not counted.
